Despite the importance of groundwater as a source of drinking and domestic water, limited information is available on groundwater quality in the Chehelsoton area. The lack of localized data on key physicochemical parameters limits assessment of potential health risks and sustainable groundwater use. Therefore, systematic evaluation of groundwater quality is needed. This study aimed to evaluate groundwater quality in the Chehelsoton area by analyzing selected physicochemical parameters and comparing the results with international drinking water standards. We collected five groundwater samples from the study area and analyzed six key chemical parameters for water quality assessment. Standard laboratory methods were used to determine the concentration and characteristics of the selected parameters. The results showed that the average values of the analyzed parameters in all three samples were within the permissible limits recommended by international standards for drinking water quality. The findings indicate that the groundwater of the Chehelsoton area is generally suitable for drinking and other domestic uses. The study also demonstrated that dissolved substances and chemical constituents in the groundwater did not exceed the acceptable limits that could negatively affect human health or industrial applications. Groundwater quality largely depends on the concentration of dissolved substances and chemical elements present in water. Therefore, monitoring these parameters is essential to protect public health and ensure sustainable water use. Overall, the analyzed groundwater samples showed no significant contamination, and no serious health risks associated with the studied parameters were identified
