About the Journal
Journal of Natural Science Review JNSR(e-ISSN 3006-7804) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published quarterly by the Department of Academic Journals at Kabul University. It covers diverse domains across the natural sciences, welcoming original research papers, review articles, and scholarly works that advance knowledge in these fields.
Peer Review Process
JNSR has a two-stage review process:
The first stage is an initial editorial review by one of the lead editors, resulting in either a decision to send for peer review (stage 2) or an editorial rejection. The editorial review process normally takes 10 - 14 days, but can be longer during peak periods.
JNSR uses a 'double blind peer review' process. That is, reviewers are not given the names and institutional affiliations of the authors, and authors are not given the names of the reviewers assigned to their article. It is therefore essential that authors remove all identifying information from their papers in the first instance. This includes removing references in the text that would enable reviewers to identify authors e.g., references to authors previously published works. Names, institutional affiliations, and references can be added if the paper is accepted for publication.
Publication Frequency
JNSR is published on a quarterly basis, ensuring a consistent dissemination of high-quality research throughout the year.
Open Access Policy
JNSR provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
